Born in New York city, raised in New Jersey, Steve grew up/came of age through the heights of the civil rights, voter rights and the movements of the 60’s and 70’s. Growing up through a time of social and political questioning sparked an early interest in things political.
 

An engineer by education, where the training in problem-solving and analysis fueled a pragmatic realist view of the universe, a passion for history and politics grew. Through the years of watching all of the turbulence of the 60’s and the rebellious 70’s a frequent question often came up. “How did we get here?”
 

Professionally, Steve has been leading project teams, training people to use computers and software and building teams to solve problems for over 40 years. He owned and was principle consultant for his own technology company for 10 years where his focus was making technology work for everyday people and businesses.

Having spent time as an on-air personality at various times throughout his professional career and life he understands the power of media in shaping the world. Combine his love for radio, political and historical passion and the opportunity presented by WJMS RADIO, and you have all the elements for the creation of Fired UP, a radio show that digs under the surface of the political machine to get to the single answer at the root of the political landscape.
